The Swedish author Peter Birro performed "Unloveable" last night at the legendary club "Nalen" in Stockholm. It was very moving. The show included readings and music, and Birro brought the house down when he was finished. You could see a lot of Smiths/Morrissey-shirts in the audience - hardly surprising considering that Birro is one of the more devoted Morrissey fans we have in Sweden.

As the song ended, Birro stated in a calm voice - "Forgive me, Morrissey..."

  • I just looked at his website which is in foreign, but I noticed he put Morrissey first in the music category ahead of Ulf Lundell, David Sylvian, Edward Elgar and Ennio Morricone. Good man!
    How did he perform "Unloveable" was it just him singing , him with a guitar, backed by a guitar or what was it?
