CNN.com reports today (link) that the New York Dolls are to put out their first studio album since 'Too Much Too Soon'. Morrissey is mentioned in the article as being responsible for getting the band back together (such as it is). Strangely, the album will be on Roadrunner Records, which begs the question, "What is the current state of Attack Records?"

If he leaves Sanctuary..... (Score:0)
But the news page is rather disappointing tonight. This one is vaguely interesting, but I was kind of hoping for further revelations about Moz's future direction/collaborators.
If he shakes up his "personnel", so to speak, this could well be THE most exciting year for 'Moz music' for a long, long time. Quarry was exciting, but for me, ultimately a letdown. The prospect of something genuinely fresh is tantalising.

I "predicted" this new stage in morrissey's career (Score:1, Interesting)
I had hoped he might pick brian Eno, someone from Radiohead and take a more experimental direction, but if it's to be the Cockney Rejects, let's hope it sounds good.
