  • Let's hope he shows this time

    ...maybe I'll even arrive?
  • I'm sure at the end of this weeks Popworld, they said Moz was going to be on next week. The website still has last weeks details on so I can't confirm it. It seemed like they couldn't believe he was going to be there, 'that didn't sound like much when I just said that'; I hope they weren't just talking about the Pet Shop Boys who were on after the link.

  • Hope he does Youngest and the glorious ALIAB. I suppose no one would argue if he done HSIN.

  • Anyone else having difficulties accessing the merchandise site as mentioned on true to you? I'm getting a black screen and nothing else. If you go to their site directly, Morrissey is listed but again nothing when you access the microsite. You're well in though if you fancy replacing your old Matt Bianco t-shirt!

  • I wonder if he'll actually do You Have Killed Me.. Youngest is basically a cert to be played, but perhaps he won't play You Have Killed Me, because there isn't going to be a sudden rush in sales of the single, whereas the album could get a few sales on people seeing another album track. If the managing department had any wit to them, they would get Morricone down there on Jools Holland for a one off special, because Holland is a very respected name in music and provides diverse musical entertainment for a wide audience. A Morricone - Morrissey only performance would be simply amazing for Dear God Please Help Me. But it won't happen.

We're bound to get Still Ill :(... Why must he provide the audience with a good version of an old classic instead of showing some really awesome performances of the new album. He could do Pigsty, but perhaps it's too long for a telly performance. Ah well.

  • I take it he's just performing then, no interviews?

  • Hopefully this will give ROTT a boost before it disappears without trace. Hopefully he'll play the new single and give wisecracking Wossy a run for his money.

  • Zippidy-doo-dah! Here also is the Mozzer’s opportunity to take his revenge and confront Jools with a confounder of a ‘knock knock’ proposition. Any ideas? He’ll definitely tip the wrestling Jonathan’s conversational arm on the table again. Splendiferous news, anywhat - scintillating treats in store!

  • On Ross, they could play (after a period of listening to Mr Ross sucking up to all the band):

The Youngest was the first loved,
In the future when all's well.

The timings for those two would be about right....plus they are AMAZING songs and great TV songs (especially if band move around a bit !)

    On Holland, they could play:

The youngest was the first loved.
    Life is a Pigsty.
    Here comes that man again
In the future when all's well.

Something like that would be a direct hit against the stereotypical view that he is going to play a SMITHS song. Which is completely wrong and somewhat unfair.

    Regards,

    Strawberry.
