Ian Michael Hodgson, the writer of "skin Storm" has a new 12 track cd. The former Bradford frontman and friend of Morrissey has formed a new band called Acoustic Uprising and they have a Myspace page were you will be able to hear his new songs. www.myspace.com/acousticuprising

They are also playing a couple of gigs in Blackburn. There are more details on his myspace.
I met him back in 1992 and he signed a copy of "pregnant for the last time" for me. He is a really nice chap and i can see why Morrissey got along with hime so well.

  • Ian plays at Barzooka in Blackburn on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month. His new stuff with Acoustic Uprising is very different to Bradford, but still has a charm about it! Top bloke! (The album has been out for a while though, unless it's a new one he's not told me about!)

Morrissey did indeed visit Ian's house on a regular basis in the early 90s, driving to Blackburn from Cheshire (without a licence apparently!)
