Excerpt: One music industry observer, Rob Fitzpatrick, associate editor of Word Magazine based in Islington, said people there thought the most likely acts included Radiohead, The White Stripes and Morrissey, who earlier this month cancelled three nights of a six-night residency at Camden's Roundhouse venue. Mr Fitzpatrick said: "I can sort of imagine someone like Morrissey doing 10 nights at a place like that. It is not a sort of heritage venue, like the Royal Albert Hall, and it is not a big money-spinner like the O2, which is built to get as many people in as possible in a small space.

There's also Oasis - new album out this year and one of the few bands who could do Ali Pali x 10. Realistically, Morrissey couldn't sell out Ali Pali x 10, even with the support of the diehards.
