  • That was great. Now I want to read the second part. Len knows what he is talking about. It's good to see that (for a change). I may even buy the book :)

  • Wow! An 'anonymous' person sends the link and then another 'anonymous' person says how good it is and 'may buy it'. I've just been a little bit sick in my mouth.

  • When The Smiths came on the scene I rolled my eyes, because it was obvious that Morrissey was channeling Wilde. I had discovered Wilde when I was just a kid, and the signs were unmistakable.

Obsessives tend to see the object of their obsession in everything. Len Brown is clearly, irretrievably obsessed with Wilde; then again, so is Morrissey; then again, so am I.

This is probably the only book about Morrissey that I will actually read until his memoirs see the light of day.

If Moz did not exist, it would be necessary to invent him.
