i write stories. things that are true, things that are untrue, and things sitting happily in the middle. i post everything in the wasteland that is now myspace, both the good and the bad, so you may have to wade through a batch of writings that aren't so hot before you find one that you enjoy. these are up mainly for my own benefit as a catalog of sorts. i post nothing approximating "poetry." more accurately: faux-etry. my work has not appeared in "the new yorker," "the reader's digest," or any other reputable publication known to man. in fact, my works have been rejected by some of the world's greatest literary institutions. they have been published, however, in the ursa major poets anthology "lost souls in the fish bowl," so i can't claim complete obscurity. one set of my lyrics was featured in the stage play "heart on a wire," for which i also wrote a one-act segment entitled "love noir." this segment was expanded into a featurette script and is now being filmed in san francisco under the title, "they bleed at midnight," destined to grace the straight-to-video world in late 2011. other random facts: my favorite velvet underground song is "stephanie says." i like cats. i am from texas, but lived in san francisco for eleven years. i now reside in los angeles, where my sporadic southern accent flare-ups have been the fodder for many a wisecrack. i have become quite the anglophile over the years, heavily interested in 1960's uk mod culture (as well as its offshoots: skinhead, suedehead, soul boys, and rude boys) and britpop. i have an equal passion for the smiths/morrissey and northern soul.

writing. guitar. music collecting. northern soul. skinhead reggae, ska ( rock steady.
