Press release just gone out ... here’s the bit about tour dates ...

———————
Now, as part of the next stage of Morrissey’s new album launch, two Morrissey UK arena concerts have been confirmed as well as dates in Cologne & Paris. The first UK date is at Leeds First Direct Arena on Friday, March 6th along with a second show set at The SSE Arena, Wembley in London on Saturday, March 14th. He also plays the Palladium Cologne on the 9th March and the Salle Pleyel in Paris on 11th March.

SJM Concerts will promote the dates. Ticket links and more show info can be found at www.gigsandtours.com, www.ticketmaster.co.uk or www.axs.com/uk.

Tickets to the shows will go on-sale to the public on Friday January 24th at 9am. An exclusive pre-sale will take place starting on Tuesday, January 21st at 9am for those fans who have pre-ordered the ‘I Am Not A Dog On A Chain’ album in advance through Townsend Music.

These new tour dates follow the critically acclaimed performances of Morrissey’s recent U.S. Tour in Autumn of 2019 with special guests Interpol. The 30 date tour drew large crowds and received rave reviews across the country.

This new limited run of shows, set to kick off the launch of the ‘I Am Not A Dog On A Chain’ album, promise to be not-to-be missed affairs if reaction to Morrissey’s 2019 U.S. dates is any indication. Press who covered the U.S. Autumn tour raved about the powerful performances as some of Morrissey’s best ever, while continually commenting on the strength of his “ageless” vocals.

Bought a ticket for Cologne. Looking forward to see him again. Thanks for the info about getting the code without needing to preorder. It's still working.

Got a standing ticket for Leeds this morning. I thought £51 was very reasonable; it was £75 for standing at Newcastle back in 2017.

Looking forward to it!

If you went to a Moz show which regular Moz solo person(s) would you like to meet up & have a pint with, if that were possible? I think I'd go for skinny...I've never seen a real nutjob close up.

His shows are getting promoted a lot into my timeline on Twitter - so they're doing a bit of marketing.

The response is low & mostly negative - but that means nothing on Twitter, except that the right(ish) have not taken him up as a poster boy & the left(ish) are not risking being associated with him on a site that gets people canceled.

You'd have to know the stats to know how well it's going or not going.

Hopefully he'll get this over with - take some time, do some dreaded networking, move away from pointless associations (aka chuck Anne-Marie under a metaphorical bus) - & slowly try to get some decent earned press.

Have you seen the response on his official Facebook page? The advertising he is doing is drawing a slew of non-fans and the comments are running about 85% negative. It's to the point where they should have probably turned off comments altogether.

Lefties networks are powerful in the sense they have the most bored trolls out there. They get paid by variou socialist clubs and schools and things to sit all day and post shit all over the internet.
Only the jews in Israel are better at it and more funded.
Little do they know the world won't listen.

What kind of cologne should one wear in Cologne and do they have colon check ups for free or do I confuse that with bratwurst (Conchita's cheating sister).

No, I haven't - I hardly ever look at his Facebook - it's so badly managed that it pains me.

He can probably survive on basic copy, paid ads & his hardcore fans, but he really, really should think of some reputation crisis management. He should keep it low-key, nothing tacky or desperate, but make it clear.

Not a good idea, he will demand you join him in evening prayers.:turban:
No pint only a mini hookah to choke yourself with.:censored:

Where’s the USSR gigs?
Flights are shit to Russia for MCR but come on Moz, f***in sort it:cool:

Paris orchestra tickets 128 €.
As far as I can see (not speaking French and having to rely on Google translate), those 128 euro tickets are for seats in the lower main seating area. Standing tickets in front of the stage (eg the orchestra area) are 78.50 euro.
