Once again, large prices paid.
Some of the non-Smiths & Moz items were extremely interesting and rare also.
The prices paid for some of the posters was simply staggering.
Who knew anyone liked Ed Sheeran enough to stump up £50,000 for a demo CD!?
I may have missed some individual items, but the bulk of it is above.
Where generic terms like 'memorabilia' are used - you will have to view the Omega catalogue to ascertain what was sold.
Regards,
FWD.

Would it be a fair assumption that prices are rising for signed pieces? Both The Smiths and Morrissey?

Thank you FWD, for pulling this together.
Yes, pretty fair.
Provenance is what sold a lot of the more unique/signed items in this I'm guessing.
Several posters that don't even come close to 'super rare' made crazy prices - so collectors are fighting over things.
Either people have loads of disposable income or they are genuinely seeing these things as hard to get.
The auction, in its entirety, has sold possibly the most 'indie' related items I've ever seen and Geoff certainly did well out of it.
Regards,
FWD.

End up now with OB singing sleeves himself and that f***in peasant Riss
I’ve always said: unless I see Morrissey sign it, I’m not interested.
seen loads of snide stuff over the years and even if it looks good, it’s not been signed to the individual personally

Maybe people bought them all to burn them and rid the universe of them forever. The bids went so high because there was an army of them unknowingly outbidding each other.

Had they ignored it the auction would have raised 20 pounds.

£1300 for a signed letter? I wouldn't pay that for a signed letter from Moz written to me in his blood predicting my entire future.
