Peter Katsis via Official Morrissey Twitter re: The Guardian again (15 June, 2019)

What a f***ing idiot.

At the risk of repeating - all of this is one person's fault, and one person's fault only.
If it's not actionable, it's fair comment.
Take ownership of your own shitness, admit you f***ed up, apologise, move on.

You're a stuck record. Who's harassing who now?

He (or his team) need to be careful here, he is getting absolute shit over this post as well with comments like - Morrissey is now officially a mad online twitter guy or This is like reading one of Donald Trumps tweets except its not in upper case. If he carries on he will lucky to sell 800 copies of his next album rather than 8000!

The Guardian just cannot accept that Morrissey, the beloved icon of their uni days, has opinions that differ from their middle class textbook liberalism.

In their view, one isn't allowed to veer off script and speak their mind these days. Mass immigration is very important to these ultra-capitalist-lefties. It keeps working class wages down, but ups the finances of the rich - and any words spoken against this scam must be silenced forthwith.

Morrissey has committed a cardinal crime against these faux leftists, all of whom abandoned their socialism after uni to embrace Blairite liberal globalism that promises further wealth for the middle class who ride this hypocritical boat. But anyone who dissents must be thrown overboard.

Exactly.
I just don't get how he's got this shit. This is tragic.

He did no real interviews, he then taunted the media with the badge.
Then his only interaction is getting his team to do this shit
It's a car crash

The covers lp is no excuse for these sales figures.
If Liam or Noel G did covers it would sell more.
This is getting real real bad.
The people who make excuses and his team are helping him ruin his career. Nobody respects him these days.

Yes, maybe Moz should have done what everyone does when they have a new LP out. Promote it with interviews. No newspaper would turn him away - not even the Guardian. They'd welcome it as their paper is like a corpse that's been pumped with electrical voltage to prove it's still alive.

Whatever THEIR reason. Moz camp is handling this all wrong.
There is no point pretending his lp did well or these updates are useful.

Belllened missing the point to rant. Again.

I don't think anyone can win a war against a newspaper.
(unless you are the Sex Pistols in the late 70's and you want them to write the the worst things possible about you)

You remind me the people who would say, in the 90s, 'the nme just putting Moz on the cover to sell ' . When really they got more sales sticking Blur or Oasis on the cover.
Do you really think Moz gives the guardian any real traffic.

You are not helping with this bs.

Irony overload.

What a tedious, broken little record you are. There's so many chips on that shoulder of yours - I bet you can no longer stand straight from the weight. This faux-intellectualising of yours - it's nothing more than mindless repetition.
A racist desperate for attention. Sad.

This illustrates the continuing low of Morrissey. His childishness and diva-esque tantrums are pathetic as is his management. Morrissey claims free speech but not for anyone that might dislike him. Hmmm. He has created a space whereby racists now openly defend him while castigating immigrants - among many others. He is a fool as are his racist fans (not all fans are racist but there are more than enough of them who are visible in this forum). Morrissey assisted in normalising their racist views via his statements and endorsements. The media has every right to question his views. The only reason he has thrown his toys out of the pram is because SURPRISE it has affected him financially. The next UK tour ...tumbleweed.
