It's the same thing on a smaller scale. The candidates have to reach out, the voters make their choice based on who cuts through.

America is SO FAR from socialism that Bernie has the same opinions as some of our right-wingers, but the perception of him as radical gives him a disadvantage with voters who feel they have a lot to lose. They're more cautious. Which is why he's so popular with rich kids who can fallback on their parents.

At what point do you think the redpill kicked in, was it when you couldn't hack it in the big city and had to find someone to blame? I feel like the bar is set pretty low for white nationalist voices in your particular corner of "journalism" but it doesn't seem like you've had too much luck there, either.

Not quite - it amplified real & justified concerns. It also hit at a moment when people are anxious about their health & money & have been cooped up indoors for weeks.
