What song are you listening to right now?

Last one for today from me. Yes it's KB again.
Enjoy the sheer sensual beauty of this. Magical:

Oh feel it, oh, oh, feel it, feel it my love
Oh feel it, oh, oh, feel it, feel it my love
Oh I need it, oh, oh, feel it, feel it my love
Feel it! See what you're doing to me

I used to play the album Lionheart over and over at 16 and 17, in a half decent foster home, a French family in Quebec. They didn't seem to mind.

For a change, a couple of my favourite Stevie Wonder tracks;

A flake of snow within a storm
A new way waiting to be born
In a world with need of change

The tears inducing All In Love Is Fair

But all is fair in love
I should have never left your side
A writer takes his pen
To write the words again
That all in love is fair

My cherie amour, lovely as a summer day
My cherie amour, distant as the milky way
My cherie amour, pretty little one that I adore
You're the only girl my heart beats for
How I wish that you were mine

OK enough of the soft stuff; funk it up with You Haven't Done Nothin':

But we are sick and tired of hearing your song
Tellin' how you are gonna change right from wrong
'Cause if you really want to hear our views
You haven't done nothin'

Calls her man the great white hope
Says she's fine, she'll always cope
Ohh, woman in chains
Woman in chains

Fortunately you have got
Someone who relies on you
We started out as friends
But the thought of you just caves me in

The 'clappy' song - Big Log.

Your love is cradled in knowing
Eyes in the mirror, still expecting they'll come
Sensing too well when the journey is done
There is no turning back
No
There is no turning back
On the run

Talking of Paul McCartney...It's Just Another Day (1971)

So sad
So sad
Sometimes she feels so sad

Ho hey ho - Mrs Vandebilt

What's the use of worrying?
What's the use of hurrying?
What's the use of anything?

Check out Jools Holland on keys.

I never thought it would happen
With me and a girl from Clapham
Out on the windy common
That night I ain't forgotten
When she dealt out the rations
With some or other passions
I said, "You are a lady"
"Perhaps, " she said, "I may be"

Talking of Paul McCartney...It's Just Another Day (1971)

So sad
So sad
Sometimes she feels so sad

Never liked Mccartney or Stevie Wonder. Robert Plant, I used to listen to. The Sea Of Love, I think the cassette was called. I was 16, and don't like it anymore, at 56.

Finishing off with the masters of cool - Steely Dan - Jack Of Speed:

He can't hear you honey, that's alright
Pack some things and head up into the light
Don't stop, he'll be callin' out your name
But don't stop when you hear him plead
You better move now little darlin' or you'll be
Trading fours with the Jack of Speed
