More on the boxed set and the tour (rumor)

As far as the tour, it will indeed begin in Salt Lake and not a day sooner. "He has obligations that will keep him from rehearsing until the week before. Then he will rehearse for a week before the beginning of the tour." Also, there will probably be more dates in September. That's it. Take care.

  • Nothing cat- or new automobile-related, I hope. I mean, unless there is a new album in the works (and God Almighty knows I hope so), it's not as if Morrissey has a second job as a male stripper or something like that. He's a musician, and his "obligations" should be rehearsing, playing and putting out new records.

  • This sounds like a reliable source... If a box set has been in the works for some time, then somebody must know what the proposed content will be, so what is it? Will there be any unreleased material, or will it just be remastered and repackaged stuff???

  • I heard on a radio program from a DJ in Detroit that Morrissey is recording right now but is looking for a lable to sign with. She heard he might sign with Sanctuary Records. All of this is unfounded but it sounds hopeful.
