Last night I had the wonderful experience of seeing Suzanne Vega perform at ULU in London, UK. Her set was beautiful as always. Three songs into the show, she mentioned Morrissey. Here is what she said, as best as I can recall: "I saw Morrissey in concert a few years ago and he didn't say much to his audience. One thing he did say was that they were a very sociable group. I guess I could say that about you guys tonight too, that you are very sociable." The crowd enjoyed this comment, especially the young guy wearing a 'Meat Is Murder' t-shirt.
