At the Zephyr show tonight Morrissey mentioned that he and the boys will appear on "The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn" and will most likely play, what is the best of the new songs in my opinion, "The First Of The Gang To Die." Can't wait!!!

  • So, did Morrissey like say, "Guess what everyone, I'm going to be on the Craid Kilborn show Sept. 12th, and I'm going to sing The First of the Gang to Die" or what? Was it like some type of formal announcement...?

I'm just curious as to what exactly was said. Either way, I'm stoked.

He said it quite informally between songs right before they did "The first of the Gang to Die." He said, more or less, "We've been booked to play on the Craig Kilborn show on Tuesay September 12. We will most likely be playing this next song called..."

Morrissey was real talkative the whole night, replying to fans questions and even at one point saying that fans should bring thier own microphones o he could hear them better. After they played TFOTGTD. He said, "We haven't been on American Television in about...mmmm....400 years. What has it ever done for us? What?" My favorite, however, was during the shows opening he said. "You've never been this close to an open grave!"

they're not exactly tickets; what you print out. its more like a reservation. you bring your print out to the studio in which they see how many people are in your party, and they search for availability/seating. most likely, the earlier the better, but its not like a regular venue where one can stand there first thing in the morning, being guaranteed a seat/place. its in the cbs studios, which are pretty strict. dress code is also somewhat advised. no t-shirts, shorts, tang tops, etc. and you can't wear white for some bizarre reason. i've been to many of his tapings, and they follow their rules pretty good.

  • Ahhhhhh... I heard TFOTGTD for the first time this weekend (thank god for cd burners) and it is so good I can hardly stand it...so at least while I am desperately clinging to the hope that he will come to NY this tour, I can watch him perform it "live" in some capacity...
I hope all of you lovely people on the west coast know how lucky you are, to be able to see him live many times and then see a live taping... Scream for the rest of us!!!

Love & Morrissey, a quite happy

  • Craig Kilborn Show is Overbooked on the 12th. Most of the people who got their reservation request online will get an email stating that they did in fact overbook the audience and will not be able to accommodate them. I spoke to a representative yesterday who filled me in and was dissapointed to say the least.

  • I called On Camera Audiences regarding Morrissey's appearance September 12th. Apparently everyone who managed to obtain online tickets is going to receive a letter stating that the "audience" portion of the show has been cancelled. Morrissey will still be on the show, however, they are only going to allow 85 "non-Morrissey" fans into the taping. He says that they'll contact people that have attended previous tapings at random to attend Sept. 12th. The guy that I spoke with said that he has no idea why, he's simply passing along info.

    I'm super bummed! This bites!

  • me and many people i know that printed that stupid page that was supposed to be your ticket received an email from on camera audiences stating only the first 100 people that got tickets will be allowed in, so im guessing theres alot more than a 100 people who printed that page of the site. so i just wanted to let people know so they dont feel stupid when they go and are refused admission. maybe i'll still go just for support.

  • I am planning to capture this entire Late, Late Show episode from satellite to my PC--the entire show because I'm hoping that rest of the show will be exquisitely colored by Morrissey's presence (the way the '92 Tonight Show with Cosby was). If there are parties interested in a trade, I will make the entire episode (edited without commercials) over into SVCD format and swap it with anyone having decent copies of any of this tour's shows. I'm interested in non-MP3 sourced shows only. For my part, I intend to create the SVCD with menus and background music, so it should be a keeper. SVCD's can be played on most standalone DVD players created in the last year and on any PC with a newer version of Windows Media Player. I don't have any of this tour's shows so it's pretty wide open for now. Please write to [email protected] if you'd like to arrange a trade.
