I've just paid one of my regular visits to James Maker's great website and the live dates he's just posted on there coincide with Morrissey's forthcoming gigs in France and the UK. Get there nice and early - you won't be sorry!

P J Harvey has just announced that she will joining Morrissey as his special guest on two of his forthcoming UK dates. This will probably be one of the last opportunities to catch Polly live in the UK for some time.

The shows are:
Glasgow SECC on December 13th
Birmingham NIA on December 14th

  • You all are so lucky in the UK to see Mr. Maker. Maybe he'll show you all what 'No One Can Hold a Candle to You' is supposed to sound like live. I am a huge morrissey fan, but he butchered the song live.

There is only one voice in rock like James Maker's and thank Satan that Morrissey signed him to Attack.

P.S. J.M. is alive and extremely embarassed....

  • I had intended off-loading the Brum tickets and just going to Brighton ( Brum is a god-awfull place ) - but obviously not!!!

I'm really glad this has finally been confirmed and is'nt a rumour - PJ Harvey is the only artist left I've wanted to see live for years - and never thought I'd get the chance!

fantastic. Wonder who will support in Brighton?

Life can only be understood in reverse.
