I saw Shannon Wright in concert last tuesday. She started alone at the piano and her second song was a beautiful cover of "Asleep", sung with power and emotions. A really great surprise, she's definitely good to hear.

  • that's really cool! I just recently got into her, but I don't know that much about her, let alone that she was a morrissey fan. xiu xiu (who are also awesome) do a pretty awesome cover of asleep as well.
    but yeah, shannon wright just went up a bit higher in my book.
