Apparently the VH1 show "Bands Reunited" tried to get the Smiths together. Footage on VH-1 on Nov. 4 at 10/9c.

  • That's really quite poignant in its way . . . weren't they listening when Morrissey said that the only way The Smiths would be in the same room again would be 'if they shot us and dragged in the corpses'?

  • The show (U.S.) usually repeats. On the 11th it'll show 3 times: 8:30/11:30 a.m., 7:00/10:00 p.m., 10:00/1:00 a.m. West coast/East coast times.

    The Smiths? That they'd even attempt it baffles the mind! It is a great show, though. I like the host Aamer. Reminds me of Joe from Fear Factor....

    I mean, can you imagine HIM and Johnny, Mike and Andy suddenly hugging each other and playing that one-off shindig at the fucking Astoria or somesuch fleapit? Sheesh...
