Samples for the album on wal-mart.com. --- sid_sideburn writes: I just received the advance promo for the Live at Earls Court release. Enclosed is a scan of the back cover from the card sleeve with the track list etc. The sound quality of the concert is simply superb, most of the songs have rarely sounded closer to their original studio sound than ever before. As a slight disadvantage, this fact sometimes gives the album a rather clean and polished feel, making it less raw and powerful than, for example, the bootleg recording of the Green Energy concert at Dublin. The passages between the songs appear to be edited. Highlights are of course Morrissey's words to the fans: "The past is a strange place", "Time will prove everything" or "Don't forget me". Anyway, it's a total must-have.

Presumably because Morrissey (or whoever) wasn't happy with certain performances, so replaced them with better ones from other gigs.

Serious thoughts on Wal-Mart, please read (Score:1)
I discourage everyone from purchasing anything from Wal-Mart. (No, I don't work for Wal-Mart, and I never have).
Wal-Mart really has contributed to the downward drift of American society. Wal-Mart is anti-union, anti-family, and anti-American in general.
Wal-Mart also regularly censors CD's. Wal-Mart is very unfriendly- and they provide a hostile work environment in general. I was always hoping a big-name artist would refuse for their CD's to be sold at Wal-Mart. It would make a big statement that hopefully others would follow.
I understand that alot of Wal-Mart products are made in sweat-shops, etc. Please do your homework and prove me wrong.
Always,

Wait for the CD and turn it up loud through a big-ass amp - I'm sure it'll sound fantastic.
As for the lack of crowd noise, all the samples I listened to were mid-track. You don't want crowd noise there.
I like the fact he's stressed the audience size on the back of the promo sleeve, as he did on Beethoven. In fact, the wording is very similar. 6,500 people in 1992 up to 17,500-odd now, just in case we weren't counting!

It's a shame the band sound so bad live - because Morrissey has proven himself to be a fine vocalist in the live arena many times. Just listen to "rank." I wouldn't be surprised if the rest of the band let him down yet again.

The samples are extremely exciting indeed. Given the format - small, low quality MP3 files - I think the sound is nothing short of glorious.
The CD release is going to be magnificent.
