  • Great song, and an outing for one of the best tunes Moz & the boys ever did - Children In Pieces. Looking forward to it already.

  • does he insist on putting the majority of the B-sides on 7" singes? Very annoying and not at all retro-cool like he might think.

  • This is the 21st century, man!
It's to be hoped that the vinyl b-sides will be out as downloads too.
I know the singles chart means nothing these days but I miss the old days when bands used to bring out 2 cd sets. I've got an old Blur single from the nineties & it has nine tracks on it!

  • Is Morrissey going to write with the words "I," "My," or "Me" involved in them? It seems woefully narcissistic.

I remember an interview from The Smiths days where Morrissey claimed that one of the problems with song writers was their obsession with using the first person point of view.

    How times have changed.

  • Will it be possible, to buy it as a Maxi Single with all three B-Sides? Or have I to buy one and download the other b-sides from a online music store ?

I think, all three Songs will be great!!

  • It always amuses me how people try and pretend they are soOOO sad about slagging off Morrissey. The trolls usually start their nasty rants with "It hurts me to say this..." or "I'm so sad to have to say this...". (Of course, this could all be the same person.)

Truth is they are not sad at all. They take immense pleasure at putting the boot in and being as nasty as possible. They are like the party pooper who's really pissed off that everyone else is having a nice time. If they were the really genuine people they claim and not the sad hypocrites they are they'd just piss off and we'd never hear anything more from them.

  • ..that all these b-sides will be available on a single CD, given time. It's happened before, and it's certainly worth waiting to see if this will be the case. I've been burned before by jumping too soon and buying three disks when I could've held out and bought one.

  • I must have missed some songs along th past 25
years, but this songs rings no bell.

    a cover?

    a new track?

    fill me in please?

[if it's a new song, it would be worth buying the
    cd single]

  • (1) Rip-off merchant. Anorexic cd singles with one extra song. Concentrated mush. Everyone already has the A side. The man must be obsessed with money. When is enough too much?

    (2) Greatest Hits: all songs 'remixed'. Right, then how come they sound EXACTLY the same as the originals? Bullshit bullshit and more bullshit.

  • Jesus wept releasing a below par song that nobody cared for in the first place on THREE different formats, each with lazy b-side fillers presumably not deemed good enough for YATQ or as b-sides of its accompanying singles. Oh and a live version of a Bowie song. I can barely muster a "hhhmppf" of disappointment. Oh and I bet the sleeves are crap as well. It's all over bar the shouting I am afraid.
    Thankyou and goodnight...

You can do better than this.... Now stop rambling about yourself and honestly I don't believe your band is even putting forth an effort now. Are they as bored as I am? It breaks my heart to speak the truth, but you made me this way :)

  • This is a great song, it won't set the charts alight being as it's already been on the GH, but it's a great song none the less. All the idiots slagging it, are just fools, who are slagging because it seems to make them look cool (i prefer the Morrissey of old, i prefer the Smiths etc etc...) It's stupid. Don't like it? don't buy it, but do us a favour and stop moaning about it. If this record had The Smiths on the cover instead of Morrissey, everyone would be raving about it. It is a great song.

  • ...but you won't EVER go away.

I personally find it highly amusing that the trolls who splutter with indignant horror over every aspect of this release (and, indeed, every move Morrissey makes these days) are the same cretins referenced in the lyrics of the A-Side.

In 10 years time you losers will STILL be here moaning obsessively over Morrissey, instead of doing the sane thing and moving on to spend your energy on something you actually enjoy.

    You have to laugh, really.
