Listen up MOZ fans... this is worth passing on to the die hards!

Morrissey's first show in SALT LAKE is NOT Aug. 1 at the Fairpark... there is a private show the night before on July 31st. The show is not even being advertised to the public... and it is sure to be awesome. The show is in a SMALL club and there are only 300 hundred tickets being sold!!!! That's it... 300 lucky folks get to see the man... VERY close. The stage is about three feet high. I would be willing to bet this is the smallest show Moz has played in a long time, if not ever!!!!

Tickets are only available at a local store owned by the promotor..or on line. ( Not sure where) So good luck to any who try to travel in for it. If you can get a ticket, it will be the best show of the tour. VIVA MOZ!

'The slow and sad set in Seattle have been keeping under their umbrella's a bit of a happy secret in Carissa's Wierd. After releasing two divine albums on the small seattle indie Brown Records and being lauded by the press, they've stepped up to release a 7" as part of the ever defunct Subpop Singles Club.

So, what does all this have to do with Morrissey? The band have just released an absolutely wonderful acoustic version of Suedehead (with sublime boy girl duets) as part of the last series in the Subpop Singles Club. Although, theres a catch. The trick is that you've got to sign up for the Subpop Singles Club in order to get your 7" slab of wax. To do so, please go to www.subpop.com. Of course, by all means, do whatever it takes to pick up Carissa's Wierd's 'Ugly but Honest' and 'You Should Be at Home Here' at your local indie store. '
