This is amazing, another rare, unreleased mp3 courtesy of the Ambitious-Outsiders. TonyS writes:

A Morrissey recording of the song "Please Help The Cause Against Loneliness" is available @ Ambitious-Outsiders.

The song was released by Sandie Shaw but written by Morrissey/Street, this recording is said to be taken from Viva Hate sessions.

The quality isn't great, certainly not top studio quality, my personal recollection was that Morrissey recorded this song as part of a session for the BBCs John Peel show. Maybe this is that recording.

Can someone confirm this? An anonymous person writes:

More info should be passed on. First, this is not a rumor! It is confirmed and his name is up on the club's billboard.

Second, it IS NOT a corporate show. The word "private" is being used... but the tickets are up for grabs to anyone. They are just not really pushing this show due to the lack of tickets. The next night at the fairgrounds is the main one they are trying to sell.

The club show is just for the lucky people who happen to find out Moz is there... and can then get a ticket... mostly word of mouth.

The club is called the Zephyr. It is indeed very small and will be an amazing place to see Morrissey! Tickets for both shows go on sale Saturday, although tickets to the club show seem to be already exchanging hands. Since there are only 300 of them... the club is rumored only to have about 50 to sell. The remainder will indeed be on sale at BASTILE or on line. They are $48 for the club show. Cheers...

Update: 06/19 16:05 GMT: Confirmed by Aaron in the comments section.

Sean writes:

Last night I had the wonderful experience of seeing Suzanne Vega perform at ULU in London, UK. Her set was beautiful as always.

Three songs into the show, she mentioned Morrissey. Here is what she said, as best as I can recall:

"I saw Morrissey in concert a few years ago and he didn't say much to his audience. One thing he did say was that they were a very sociable group. I guess I could say that about you guys tonight too, that you are very sociable."

The crowd enjoyed this comment, especially the young guy wearing a 'Meat Is Murder' t-shirt.
