Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions for post-concert gatherings during this upcoming tour, or would that be asking for trouble? Perhaps some of you in the area know of a good place to hang out near the venue.

I have set up in the tour section a place for pre-show comments for this or any other topic related to the specific upcoming show. If a place is decided on let me know the details and I can post it in a separate announcement.

My friend Lorna swears on her very soul that she saw Morrissey in Manchester last week. He was with Linder and another man with a greasy quiff. Horror of horrors - he was talking into a hands free mobile phone!!! At least he's not frying his brain cells!!!

It was outside a restaurant called 'Reform', a haven for socialites, celebs, and of course indie Gods! Lorna saw some people go up to him and just stand there gawping while he was talking on the phone, then he went into the restaurant. He was wearing a grey suit jacket and old levis. She was quaking with excitment when she called me just after so I believe her. All I can say is, get back to LA Mr. Morrissey, you've rehearsals to do!

See below for Eugene and Portland ticket info. Note Portland and Eugene dates are switched on this website from what you have listed. I don't know which is correct.

Eugene, OR (Aug. 23) info - Fastixx
Portland, OR (Aug. 24) info - Fastixx

---
I'll assume this is correct and the original dates I received were mixed up. It states both shows are 21 & over, can that be right?

Just discovered two new instrumentals from The Miraval-Sessions have been made public via 'Ambitious Outsiders'. This time it's an instrumental version of 'Nobody Loves Us' and, more interesting, an instrumental demo of the yet unpublished 'Laughing Anne'.

Saw trailer for a film called Birthday Girl (starring Nicole Kidman & Ben Chaplin). The film looked dreadful but "This Charming Man" was played for most of the trailer. Made a trip to the cinema even more enjoyable!
