Hi Laura! I'm so sorry I didn't let you know about Oakland...You know, I didn't try to get tickets the moment they went on sale, but I did check Ticketmaster and Solo a few hours after the tix went on sale. Looks like nobody on Solo was able to get pit tickets--I guess the scalpers snapped them up again or they weren't released yet? It's a seated show except for the pit. So I don't feel so bad about not getting on TM the moment the tix were released!!! Honestly, I don't want to fly up to Oakland to sit in the balcony or be stuck in boring old seats! I'm still considering Coachella...I just don't want to take a day off of work for it, so I'm not really sure what I'm going to do. At least you have Houston to go to...I'm so jealous!!!

Hey you. Nive to hear from you... It's had been a while and i have a terrible habit of reading messages and not replying right away when it would be far easier to read them and respond.

What has been wrong with you? And i've just noticed that you had written to me and i hadn't responded. Sorry. So glad you got tickets. It looks like a picked the wrong time to miss a tour. I can be really thick at times.

Hi Laura, I'm not sure what I'm doing about Oakland...I really want to go since it's a Saturday show and I wouldn't have to take time off work! I'm going to think about it for the next few days...tix go on sale Saturday, right? Lemme know if you want to go!!! Tickets are pretty cheap on Southwest right now!

OMG you're gonna go see M in Dallas?? LUCKY!!! I still haven't bought my tickets for Manchester or made hotel arrangements yet *cringe* but I'm 99.9% going. Yay! And it would be awesome if you could make it!!! Sorry to hear you've been sick! The weather here has been pretty funky..some warm summer-y days and then all of a sudden it gets super cold again! It was so cold here the other night that I thought I was going to come down with something too! Anyway, I'm excited to hear that you might be going to England and I'm super jealous you're going to go to the Dallas show! Right now I have NO US shows lined up. It makes me sad!

I thought i was feeling better, but i'll probably go and see the doctor just to see what she can recommend. Probably Euthenasia...

I haven't got any planes to see any of his shows. I just watched a concert on BBC radio 2 and istantly regret niot making an effort to get tickets. You live and you learn, apparently.....lol!

I hope work is better for you? There are few things that can stop the tedium of the routine. But if you find a way let me know instantly..

My cold is getting worse, i now have a chest infection which is playing havoc with my smoking.. It is starting to really piss me off now though. I'll need to concead and take something for it..

Hi Laura, thank you! I'm so nervous about this thing today. Julia still hasn't send the "additional info" she was going to send us about claiming our tickets!!! I was going to drive up to LA around lunchtime, but won't have internet access after that, so I am freaking out. I thought the same thing about how I should've tried for studio tickets, but then some people said that it probably doesn't guarantee getting to see Morrissey. If you decide to try to get a ticket, please let me know! I am still going to try to convince my friend to drive up with me to see if we can get him a ticket..but right now, I'm pretty sure he's going to say no. I am so nervous!

(Continued from previous post...)I checked back and saw on the Morrissey board that people had answered questions and got tickets. I was heartbroken. I have thought about just going down and trying to get in, but if it is pouring I don't think I will bother. This whole situation sucks and the way they do things there ( at that 1iota) sucks. I will give you a call later. I'm not sure if I should. So frustrated! Have a safe drive from San Diego. That's awful you have to go alone though. How stupid that they gave one ticket! People were smart to get tickets for the regular show. I wish I had thought of that sooner. I have no luck. I guess it was just too good to be true. Well I better go get ready for work. I will give you a call after school this afternoon. HAVE THE TIME OF YOUR LIFE!!! Love, Laura : )

MELL THAT IS WONDERFUL!!!!! I am SO HAPPY for YOU!!!! YEAH!!! I on the other hand I am totally distraught... I bet it won't even rain! I saw the message from Alma about the contest so I checked a few times before I left for work but that was at 5:30am. Then I checked when i got to school and didn't see anything. At recess 10:45 ( now why didn't I get an office job where I am strapped to a computer all day?) Continuing on the next post....

Laura!!! Did you hear about the craziness that happened this morning?? I had emails from people saying TTY was going to giveaway 10 tickets today and I just happened to refresh the page when the "contest" went up at 9AM. I submitted my answers and tried to get my friend signed up so he could go with me to the show. Turns out he was already too late. You didn't look like you were online at the time, so I didn't send you a message. Anyway, I somehow got a ticket! Now I don't have anyone to go with since my friend couldn't get a ticket. I don't even know how I'm supposed to claim my ticket from Julia!!! Any chance you're going to show up for the show to see if you can get a ticket? I am trying to convince my friend to drive up to LA with me anyway and if we can't get him a ticket, I thought maybe he could just go shopping for an hour or so while I'm inside. I'm freaking out! Let me know if you're going to try to go down to the studio tomorrow!

I am not feeling any better and this cold has stayed with me in various forms for the past month. There's not really much i can do about it though, hopefully it will pass real soon.

So glad that a fellow solo-er came to your rescue. You will have to give me a review of it when you get back! I won't be going to see him on this tour, i'll have to wait until the nest one sadly.

Hey Laura--that's great!!! It would be so cool if you could get a ticket to the taping so we could finally meet!!! I'm sure we'll be going to get food/drinks after the taping and it would be great if you could be there!! It's going to be so much fun!!! I'm glad Mark called you back! I'm a little mad at my boy right now because we have our office party tonight and he called me this morning to tell me he doesn't want to go. He's been depressed and says he has no reason to celebrate. It makes me sad that he can't even suck it up and just have fun hanging out with me! Guys can be so annoying!

Hi Laura! Of course I will let you know if I hear about an extra ticket! I actually tried to get my boy registered on 1iota so he could try to get a ticket for himself, but for some reason, we never got the email to confirm his registration. So we missed out. I'm annoyed because that could've been a ticket I could have given to you since he probably wouldn't have even gone. You might want to just keep checking 1iota & Solo even on the day of the taping, because you never know who will cancel and some people just might not show. Just keep your eyes open! So when you went to see John Corbett, did he see you?? I hope he did!!! As for my man, I think he's a little bit upset with me right now because I burned a Morrissey CD for another guy this week! Oh well, he needs to know that I'm not going to wait around forever for him to get serious about me!

Hi Laura.. I am doing pretty well. I do know that Craig Ferguson, Fergie to us Scots.. was a Scot. I used to have a concert tape of his called Bing Hitler and it was really funny. This was back in the late 1980's though. (Showing my age here..)

It would be good if you could go to Moz's concert but it is such a long way to travel. Not sure i could show the old man that much dedication, but that's one of the downsides of being a sloth....

I hope that work will be okay for you when you return, you know what i mean...

Hi Laura!!! OHH NO, I'm so sorry you weren't able to get tix to Jimmy Kimmel!!! I got the head's up from one of the girls on Solo--but only because she emailed me at my gmail account! Otherwise I think I would have missed out on the show too because I was still at work when the news broke and not even checking up on Solo today. I was only able to get two tickets for my friend and I and we're going to have to take time off work to drive up there for the show. I bet it will be a madhouse and I won't even be able to get close to the stage. I bet if you ask around Solo you'll be able to get a spare ticket from someone! So do you think you're going to try to go to Manchester??? If you do go, you don't have to worry about traveling alone. You are more then welcome to hang out with my friend Ed and I if you decide to make the trip!! I'm sorry to hear that your boy is being a flake. What's up with that??! My man and I are "back on." Not official BF/GF yet...
