The DVD shows that, while the Boz/Alain/Deano/Gary band is respectable enough, they lack the expertise to do justice to Smiths songs, by and large. They should stick to Moz's solo catalogue, which they obviously play much better as they wrote alot of it!

J Marr is the man to bring back. A Whyte writes some good songs, as does B Boorer, and between 1992 and 1994 they were excellent but AW has not written much that is outstanding since 1995, other than 'Gang', 'Nobody Loves Us' and 'Trouble Loves Me'.

It is time for Moz to shed the chains of mediocrity and call Johnny Marr. I guarantee if J Marr wrote for Moz again then superb songs would ensue.

Morrissey has always appealed to me because of the emotion he packs in his vocals and the odd flaw just makes him more human.I hope he doesn't lose this in the quest to become note perfect to cover the lack of imagination in the music itself. By the way, why isn't anyone alllowed to moan on this site anymore. Morrissey does enough of it?
