    "I Am Not A Dog On A Chain" released (March 20, 2020)

Even after all these years I still get a buzz out of a new Moz album on release day. I have been listening to this all day, it is so good, he has absolutely nailed it. A brave and brilliant departure. A side follows B side, follows A side, follows B side.

London - The SSE Arena Wembley (Mar. 14, 2020) post-show

So many highlights... Jim Jim Falls, Seasick, Yet Still Docked, At Amber...but I could have easily added Lady Willpower, Morning Starship and Back On The Chaingang I enjoyed the whole thing, I loved the new stuff and thought the set was great, I’m so excited to get hold of the new album now.

    Leeds - First Direct Arena (Mar. 6, 2020) post-show

I met a top lad from Manchester called Steve on Saturday morning who’d been to the gig as well. We had a natter at breakfast, I was still buzzing but he thought the set list wasn’t great, not enough hits from the past for him. I thought it was great, didn’t worry me, excited to see him again and...

Boy for my Birthday - Dale Hibbert Q&A

Hello Dale, Hope you had a good birthday. Thanks for uploading, the countdown was brilliant and after the disappointment of so many unearthing fanfares this did not disappoint at all. I read a lot about this song and the various offered reasons behind why the band decided it would be cool to...

Edinburgh (July 4), Portsmouth (July 10) and Reading (July 12) dates added

There is a World Cup semi final on the night of the Portsmouth gig, it’s never dull in old Pompey but England’s involvement could certainly make it a bit lively before and after the gig.

    2018 UK tour announced

Brighton is a great place for a trip away, lots of places to eat out and brilliant night life. Moz has played here before as well, it’s not the best venue in the world, far from it, but last time it was a great night!

HMV responds to Morrissey’s “Queen Is Dead” singles sales complaints - Pitchfork

The facts are: The stickers in question appear on lots of records in the 'exclusive' section in HMV stores, not just TQID. The stickers are intended to stop 'record touts' reselling them at inflated prices on EBay. The TQID sold out within a week (so it did not hurt sales). The decision to make...

    London - O2 Arena (Nov. 29, 2014) post-show

Great gig last night, Moz was superb. I left with an uneasy feeling though that he was criptically prepared us for a goodbye with the 'remember me' line. I've attended every tour since the last Smiths tour and I so hope this isn't the last as he obviously has so much still to give us.

"World Peace Is None Of Your Business" single sleeve; song download listed on Amazon UK (May 13)

Usually at this point loads of us look to hear the new songs by downloading live versions, I'm well pleased we get to hear properly recorded ones instead, it seems like a good plan this :)

Lana Del Rey vs The Smiths

FFS, this is shite. The KLF were funny when they sampled vocals, this is just pathetic.
