Here are my two cents:
I think Moz continues to fail to understand that record companies WILL NOT EVER play his ways as far as recording deals go, his egotistical ways of doing business is ridiculous, he demands respect but is unwiling to compromise. Unless you are an artist who has sold...
Re: Live at Hollywood bowl DVD
Hello Everyone, I know I've not been around here for SO long but can anyone help track down a copy of this show at the hollywood bowl? It would be highly appreciated, thank you.:thumb:
Excluding Papa Jack and Roy's Keen off the re-mastered Maladjusted re-issue, makes no sense whatsoever to me. As I've said before, Moz has never given the fans what they want so why should start now when they the fans have expressed dislike about these two songs. Personally, I love these...
Some record producers are SO over-rated, way too over-rated.
I think Morrissey should produce his next album himself, he's denitely learned enough and has enough experience to do so, :guitar:
Perhaps Moz feels Marc Almond has soiled Brel's legacy already, hence the lack of interest, is Moz even a Marc Almond's fan? Though I must admit, Almond has done Brel's songs plenty of justice as has Walker.
I Love Almond's songs, his Soft Cell's years are fab too,
My point exactly. This could be reason why Moz refused to pay the money ordered by the court. Though in all fairness, the money ordered to be paid was not for song writing privileges/publishings - it all got so nasty, its a real pity, really!
I could do without the Live CD on the limited edition, instead, I would have chosen to add all the B-Sides from You are the quarry onwards, really make it a B-Sides Collection but I suppose that would asking too much? :blushing:
I wonder how long before Decca/Polydor/Universal release The...
:guitar:
Thanks for the headsup about the Swords Limited Edition, :)
Financially speaking, its would be a good fit for Warner to sign him since they now have control over The Smiths' back catalogue and his solo catalogue in the US and Canada. The question here is, would Moz be interested...
I am not surprised about this, after all, it was announced when he first was transferred from Sancturay to Decca/Universal. It was a two album deal, the greatest hits and apparently Years of Refusal. Swords is what I am confused about, where does it fit with the original deal? Who knows, who...
I'm not very impressed with the sleeve, either. It's very boring, whoever chose it, should fired at once! hahaha. I doubt it'll chart very high, too. Though, we all know some of Moz's B-sides are his best work, some are definitely A-Side contenders, :guitar:
Well, even the most devoted Moz fans aren't vegetarians, fans already know how much this upsets Moz, maybe they won't use the coupons, LOL. I hope he doesn't cancel the gigs cause of this.
Yes, he can then have Pete Burns from Dead Or alive join him on stage and do the song live, LOL. Pete Burns wears nothing but plastic flowers on his wigs these days, a bit tired looking if you ask me!

Scary, I know, LOL...
If this is true, what's up with Moz butchering his songs. The baby crying in this sounds pretty much sums up the song theme, it would be very stupid to remove that part of the song.
I love this song, its very moving yet so true.
Doherty needs a reality check and fast! I will never understand celebrities who make an ass of themselves and expect other celebrities to not have an opinion about them. This is why people should not air the dirty laundry in public. He should be grateful Moz even acknowledges him, period!
