Tour dates added: San Francisco (Nov. 19) & Philadelphia (Dec. 3) - announced September 20, 2022

Rolling the dice for an Atlanta date! Give me an Atlanta, baby.

    'I Am Veronica' lyrics

My ear hears it as Morrissey comparing himself as a singer to a prostitute and he wants the audience to slide him into their music playlist or pocket. It's uplifting and has a bit of the same sentiment as, "The more you ignore me, the closer I get." 🎶🎙️

Johnny Marr interview: ‘I had to defend myself against Morrissey’ - thetimes.co.uk

Marr's perpetrating the corporate media's agenda so easily is giving him away as a puppet. He is not different than the few artists that occupy the charts these days in that regard. Should we weep? NO, just go to the artists that still mean something and still are all human being. John Boy and...

Chicago, IL - Riot Fest - Thursday Preview Party (Sep. 16, 2021) post-show

You're welcome. My best guess is he knows the meaning behind the song to its fullest through Chrissie, and that's the reason it's on the setlist. That is, for its commentary on the biz and how it controls and chains those in it.

Chicago, IL - Riot Fest - Thursday Preview Party (Sep. 16, 2021) post-show

It could be both. 👍👍 Chrissie wrote "Back on the Chain Gang" as a memorial to band member Honeyman-Scott who died from a drug overdose. AND after all, it's about being chained and we know Moz will die with both of his hands untied. 😎

NME: "Watch Blossoms and Rick Astley team up to cover The Smiths" (September 14, 2021)

Interesting! 😊 If you happen to have any article links handy where Moz says it's painful, I'd be excited to read them. Either here or by direct message if you prefer.

NME: "Watch Blossoms and Rick Astley team up to cover The Smiths" (September 14, 2021)

The world has gone mad! 😅 Who are the bozos that fall for this? The music execs are laughing at these gullible people.

Rick Astley Twitter: Rick Astley & Blossoms perform the songs of The Smiths - 2 Smiths-themed concerts in October (September 14, 2021)

A hero 😅 The malicious intent is crystal clear. I finally saw the other thread about this where Rick sings,"Hang the DJ." Rick, you may be the one hung out to dry. Big mistake Mr Dance Music Man. I accept that some people will not know the difference, but I will not pretend to be one of those...

Rick Astley Twitter: Rick Astley & Blossoms perform the songs of The Smiths - 2 Smiths-themed concerts in October (September 14, 2021)

I am open minded and saw Rick play on his own band's tour of the States in 2018 at a smaller venue. He has a great voice and always has, but his onstage persona is as an extroverted R&B pop 'n soul man. No doubt he has the ability to sing a Smiths' song like This Charming Man on a superficial...

Post Whatever You Are Thinking At This Very Moment

I know nothing about it, but if you are independent, open minded, honest and creative, you will be attacked at Solo for speaking your mind. Never mind that the artist we all follow has those same attributes. That means good people will go elsewhere naturally.

    People on here

Pretty low vibe overall I was told from the outset and that has proven to be right although it has been an avenue to catch up on the Morrissey years I missed. 🏜️

Las Vegas, NV - The Colosseum at Caesars Palace (Sep. 5, 2021) post-show

The Livestream last night was amazing. Everyone commented on the steadiness of it and it lagged only a handful of times. Enthusiastic fans on FB as well! Not once did I feel distracted from the screen as the songs flowed from one to the next easily. Felt good 👍👍❤️

How much would you pay if Morrissey did a "Meet 'n' Greet" pre gigs?

A California Son record player!! Is there a picture of one of these somewhere? 👍 Why would Morrissey never do a VIP meet & greet? I feel incredibly awkward at these things the couple times friends have talked me into it, & I'm glad to hear others don't like them. It feels really strange to...

Las Vegas, NV - The Colosseum at Caesars Palace (Aug. 28, 2021) post-show

The world is about people, not politics. This is a case of, "Most people keep their brains between their legs." Leave the Moz critics alone and they will die from lack of interest. They exist to stir up the fans only. Don't get stirred up. Moz continues to be Moz and we continue to be fans no...

Johnny Marr announces new double album

The vid is heavy on symbolism that would be in a younger artist's vid. Such a slave to the music industry. Poor Johnny.

Morrissey A-Z: "Such a Little Thing Makes Such a Big Difference"

It has been at times my fave sing-along on Drag and probably in my top two lyrically on the album. It has the openness, fullness of faster songs I love on Drag while remaining midtempo. Just beautiful. So many sprouting songs on BD.

Las Vegas, NV - The Colosseum at Caesars Palace (Aug. 28, 2021) post-show

Just noticed this little thing. Compare the above statement with his interview on July 5. He has changed his view on the possibility of a revolution. SAM: Will there be a revolution? M: No, because the tanks would be turned against the people immediately. The police are already trained to...

Las Vegas, NV - The Colosseum at Caesars Palace (Aug. 28, 2021) post-show

There's almost nothing in the left wing press about the French protests. However, much of the population is relying more on citizen reports and alt news because it's not being covered in the left wing news. The libertarians, more independent minded libs and conservatives. It makes sense that...
