I feel really sorry for Dave after all he's been through in recent years. I count myself among the diehard DM fans who wish him all the very best and a speedy recovery. Fortunately, I am not one of those bitter, so-called DM fans, who saw this in a slightly less charitable light, and saw fit to...
The original version of The Office is far superior in every way as, some facets of British comedy do not translate well, and while impression is the sincerest form of flattery, it does, at times look like it's failing miserably. Ricky Gervais owns that show, as he does Extras. It's cringe...
I personally think the idea of one person being continually mentioned, even on this forum, is a bit twee. For Morrissey to even mention one fan (or whatever you care to call her) is asking for bother. It is human nature for a crowd of god knows how many thousand to feel slighted at one person...
Got to Love Morrissey. He just owned that interview and made everyone there including Henry (What "C" am I?) Kelly realise the current and future legendary status that The Smiths, and more properly, Morrissey was to accrue.
Young girl, one day you will be old.
But the thing is, I love You now.
This is the last song I will ever sing. No I've changed my mind again.
Goodnight and Thank you.
I've personally never seen DM as a "Festival Band" as I feel their stage show and immense stage presence would be compromised by being segued between other (lesser) acts.
Cant wait till December when I see them, though!
I like Lily Allen. I find her quite an interesting character who also happens to be very attractive and sexy to boot. The difference is, her songs appear to be based on some form of experience which riaises her credibility above the Girls Aloud et al of this world.
It was quite funny to see...
The amazing thing about Brand is he is so irrevocably rubbish. Isn't it strange how he rose to fame or infamy by joinging forces with some other talentless nothing, Jonathan Ross to carry out an act that would get anyone else arrested, let alone a small lay off from the BBC.
Andrew Sachs may...
I'd have to say, in no particular order;
Sonya Aurora Madan - Echobelly
Stine Brammsen - Alphabeat
Lily Allen.
Louise Wener - Sleeper
Duffy
Katy Perry
Miki - Lush
Shirley Manson
But Beth Ditto and Amy Crackhouse (surely not???)
Seriously, though. Why post an item like that on a Morrissey forum and be genuinely suprised at the reply. If a post like that was to appear on a Springsteen forum, can you imagine the replies that would flood in.
I happen not to like Springsteen's music and love Morrissey's. It wouldn't do if...
God, that's a shame! Not, really!
Both were as vacuous as each other. Price is an abhorrent media caricature who feels that the world owes her a living. Andre a smilarily self seeking media whore who crave their privacy, but still sign up for 3 series of that garbage show. Privacy cannot be...
I have to say that I personally cannot abide Russell Brand. He's about as humorous as a burning house. I was truly surprised to hear Morrissey name check this person as I honestly thought that he was more circumspect about the people upon whom he heaped praise.
