Hidden By Rags

Calling all North American fans.

If you've read about their notorious live gigs, now's your chance to see them. I'll FINALLY get to see them in San Diego. The Casbah doesn't provide much room for their stage antics though! Intimate nonetheless!

29/02/08 Visalia - Cellar Door 0

Louisville, at that venue?!?!?!?!

That's not even a venue! It's a shatty bar!

Oh well, I'll still go :)

HA! Is it really just a sh*tty bar? Oh well... I bought tickets anyway since they're only $12 and it's on a Friday. I hope they're as great live as everybody says. I didn't like them at first but their new album grew on me.

I saw British Sea Power years ago ('04 I think) in a little club in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Industry friends took me, excitedly telling me that BSP were one of the best things to come out of the UK in years. It was a big build up.

The show was decidedly mediocre. I thought they sounded talented but conventional, with obvious influences (not necessarily a bad thing). I liked their style, however, and their attitude.

If they have become "notorious" in the meantime, then maybe they are living up to the hype.

I'm pissed they are playing Des Moines but blowing off Kansas City which actually god forbid has a population and good venues.

Hi pauloso :)
Yeah, the Letterman show should give them the best exposure to the masses in the U.S.
Would love to see them on Conan, too. Maybe when they return to New York in May.
