Hey everyone!

I'm looking for a really big size high quality picture of Morrissey where in a black background he is standing holding a violin.
Can anyone help out?

Thanks in advance

That's pretty much the picture I'm looking for, however, there are a few pictures from that photoshoot looking slightly different.
I like this one the most: http://www.vitaobscura.com/background.jpg

Would like to know if anyone knows where I can find that one or one of the others in bigger size than the link in the previous post and the one in my post.

Thanks in advance

You need to contact the photographer Fabio Lovino to get that copy.

It always annoyed me that he's holding the bow incorrectly

I think that's the one he mentioned previously and said that he posed incorrectly. Haha!

What do you mean?

He said, maybe in the Autobiography (I can't recall), that he there's one photo from that session where he was improperly posed, but he doubted anyone would notice. He's copying a pose and he did it wrong. Or...maybe I'm imagining that he said that. And now I'll spend the rest of the afternoon trying to find it. Ha! Give me a bit.

did you happen to see that blind test of violins they did not long ago. they had a bunch of world famous pro players play several violins, some were srtats and some were a year old and a lot of them picked the new one from the sound and playing alone which made me laugh my ass off. the tricks the mind plays and the money they pay lol

I can't find the dang thing! Soooooo...unless someone can support my claim, I must've imagined him saying it...or he said it in a video interview and I haven't got the time today because Mondays are the worst. I'm sorry.

Is this what you're thinking of?

The picture of you holding the violin on the cover of Ringleader Of The Tormentors is brilliant! What was the inspiration for it?

There is an American film from 1946 called "Humoresque" in which Oscar Levant holds up a copy of a magazine with John Garfield on the front playing the violin, as he does throughout the film. I thought the Garfield picture was so touching, so I tried to copy it. Interestingly, my right hand is cupped on the European version, but is straight on the US version.

YESSSSSSSS! Thank you! This is similar to the Malfoy-got-bit-by-a-werewolf scenario that I imagined...somehow. Thanks for clearing it up. Fred's probably going to laugh at this later.

Can't thank you enough Joe, exactly the one I was looking for!

Is this true? I've never seen actual printed physical releases of ROTT with different covers. Can anyone provide a comparison?
