Making Gifs

I want a gif but have no idea how to do it.

I found a website that links pictures together but i wanted to make a gif of a clip from a video from youtube.
Is that possible?

You need to make screenshots of the video, then link them together using software or the site you found.

You can make a gif in adobe image ready, there's an animation function that does this but you need the stills of the frames required.

You don't need stills, but you need to be able to isolate the section of video you need. One way to do this is with google Picasa. It has a video editor.
