Yeah, I know about epsom salt and yes drinking plenty of water is important and coffee is really bad for you although those with an interest in the sales of it claim it is good for you.

The signals in the ears only die when we do.

Oh well, that is a relieve then. :o
There is a time for tinnitus too, and to get rid of it.
Just saying.

You can actually hear Mike's tinnitus all the way through the title track on The Queen Is Dead.
An event honouring the life of someone who committed suicide because of tinnitus and this is the best you can come up with?

You should have your own tv show on dutch tv where you can twist things people say, like your politicians and drive them mad.

If it was on pay per view I wouldn't mind emptying my bank account to be able to see and hear it.

Thanks Urban, much appreciated!
I would like to do that, yes.
You understand me.

I have worked with loads of men probably your age that always saw the funny side and just had to twist things. We even had a much older man in our class at high school that was always doing that who was like the father of our class.

He was a bit fat and a SAAB owner and I broke his ribs in a football game just before we all went on summer leave. He told me when we started school again in the fall.

It was not on purpose, I swear.

The really sad part about this of course, is Craig Gill's death. I didn't know until now that he took his own life, and I didn't know that he suffered for years from this difficult condition.

What I do know is that, several months before he died, Craig took my wife and I on a private "Smiths" tour of Manchester on a day he normally doesn't do tours, and that he was a sweet and thoughtful man. He seemed to be in good health, but did seem a bit melancholy.

When, I heard that he died, I was shocked and saddened, and I wondered what had happened. It is heartbreaking to think that he was in such discomfort that he would resort to such a desperate act to relieve his pain, leaving behind a wife and children. R.I.P. Gilly

Very sad indeed and a great band he was in that I liked very much.

Despite my evil banter sometimes and this being a bit late I would like to extend my sincere condolences to Phill Gatenby cause it must have been very hard to deal with this loss.

Tragic indeed - but thank you for sharing that personal moment with us.

something for you to look forward to in this coming year then, eh?

Yes, I curse them signals every day I wake up. I started taking B12 again and the throat pain is gone. Apparently B12 is important to kill off candida and to mend anything that has become sore.

I am seeing the throat specialist next month.

SuedeMoz, I too was curious so I Googled and found it in our own Solo forum....I think it was cited in Mozipedia?
https://www.morrissey-solo.com/threads/mozipedia-what-have-you-learnt.103027/

Don't know if the thread you quoted included this too (too many posts for me to wade through), but just in case here it is, from GoogleBooks:
https://books.google.nl/books?id=1FuvkmaRCPUC&pg=PA162&lpg=PA162&dq=danton+supple+pool+eardrum&source=bl&ots=sAAyjXobId&sig=vBfWmtN3UXPNKCRQj-Ag-de52Ks&hl=nl&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwih6vGey6fVAhVKLVAKHV8wAYgQ6AEIQzAD#v=onepage&q=danton supple pool eardrum&f=false
Having a fickle, perforated eardrum myself, which causes me to go half-deaf for a couple of weeks at least once a year, I can sympathise with Morrissey here.

Whatever you may think of Mike, I think this is a very worthy cause.

I mean that I hate the fact that I am still alive.

LOL

No idea if I have tinnitus or not cause tinnitus doesn't tend to wary much I think so whenever I have noise in my ears I'm either tired or lacking something. Putting your fingers to the ears won't stop tinnitus nor does using ear plugs but doing that it goes quiet for me.

I sometimes use ear plugs when I sleep if kids are out playing or the neighbours are up to something. In the past weeks we've had builders here working on the balcony foundations so that meant I needed something to kill the noise.

Builders really are a different breed altogether and they just love to make a mess and create more noise than necessary. Seeing those clowns lift the balcony railings to the ground and putting them back again and THEN starting to remove the balcony railing planks and replacing them with steel instead of doing that on the ground was just typical. A whole week the railings were on the ground and they could have at least used that time removing the old planks.

Now they have probably made more damage to the balconies than the damage that was there before they started. Won't affect me but the lady under me might get concrete in her head one day like some other neighbours nearly did.

I am asking for compensation for everyone living here cause they ruined many old peoples best time of the year and some spend their time off work at home. Builders are like big walking question marks when it comes to privacy. If I find their address I will show up at their place at 7 in the morning on a weekend and create noise and be a nuissance. That industry has not developed at all.

Thailand and steaks is all they talk about laughing with their oversized bellies they stuff dinner down at 9 in the fooking morning.
