She took an instagram selfie of herself while singing. That's so weird. Also it's interesting that it seems to be a crowd-killer, it's like her To Give. :D

I don't imagine there's a large crossover between Miley Cyrus and Smiths fans tbf.

Oh dear!
Knowing Miley's obnoxious behaviour towards her "heros", Moz better stay away from her if she ever tries to reach him in one way or the other.

She's an ignorant spoiled brat who shamelessly and desperately plays the sexist game to stay relevant in the current "music" scene.

One of last night's trolls dug her instagram version up, they're not entirely good for nothing. :p

Is she using her cellphone while singing? Like she couldn't wait to check to her Facebook notifications till after the concert? Jesus Christ this brings smartphone fixation to a whole new level.

Also, people in the audience randomly started singing along as if they just then and there learned the lyrics through some sort of random act of divine revelation.

Very strange.

While it's not exactly a very lively rendition...

Miley Does Belfast....

Sadly, Miley Cyrus did not play this song during her acoustic interval at the Birmingham NIA show last Friday night. She played "It Ain't Me, Babe", "Summertime Sadness" and "Jolene". It was simply wonderful. After the absolute pandemonium of the opening ecstasy, the stage and all lights blacked out as if there has been a power cut. After a minute, people started whistling. Suddenly footage on the screen behind the stage shows Miley with a small acoustic band and newbies assume it's archive footage. Then a small stage rises at the back of the arena for an interlude set for the Dads and Moms who were chaperoning their kids and for those in the cheap seats in 'the gods' to see The Goddess up front and personal.

Miley is recording footage of her singing which is projected onto the screens behind the main stage for the 'fans' who tried to rush to the back of the arena but were stopped by sensible security measures. We note that there are usually no large screens or mini-stage at Morrissey arena events of this magnitude. Miley Cyrus is one of the most gifted performers we have every encountered. Almost as ecstasy inducing as Katy Perry. To have seen both in one week in Birmingham as well as Nine Inch Nails was almost too much. Almost.

Everyone on this thread other than the Moderator who helpfully brought this footage to our attention and user 'jm26' is now on Eternal Ignore either for being rude towards Ms Cyrus or for straying off-topic. There is no appeal against the sentence of Eternal Ignore. Anyone who gratuitously re-posts anonymous or other user user comments which contain tiresome attempts by these banished entities to communicate with us will also face summary banishment. We will be raising the issue of how to speed up the process of putting 95% of the eejits here on Eternal Ignore. It would be helpful if there was a button by the comment to allow either ignore further responses from this user in this thread or Eternal Ignore. We will raise this in the appropriate section of this online asylum.

Now that Morrissey has done the impossible with 'Istanbul' we are in a new era. We simply don't have time for anyone's nonsense as it distracts from the astonishing artistic and ethical renaissance of Morrissey and his band.

best wishes

I dont hate this..

I actually love how she sings the Chorus "If a double deck bus.."

She sings it very similar to the way it was sung on the Demo released a few years back

Re: Miley Cyrus sings There Is A Light That Never Goes Out

Oh well, at least her fans have a bit of a history lesson...

SHe's instagramming it and trying to get the fans in the video, they get all excited about that. I think it's a thing she does regularly.

That's kinda cool…but also kinda odd…I don't want to be too harsh as I fear I am much too young (and welded to my smartphone) to play the role elderly curmudgeonly luddite just yet. Some day though...

Join the queue. Every BrummieBoy and BrummieGirl there wanted to bang Miley at the Birmingham Bangerz Bukkake Ball. She was impressed, to put it mildly! She wanted some of that BrummieBoy Goo-Goo Muck if you get my drift.....that's a Cramps song, folks. Any allusion to German porn culture is totally accidental, so don't go Googling for Goo.

Yes it's an Illoooominati Priestess robe disguised as street trash chic. Very Brum. There is clearly something going on in Brum if Kitty Purry and Marley Cyprus turn up within days to try and shock us with their Hollywood Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. It's amusing to picture them as their tour bus navigates away from Spaghetti Junction and they ask their UK tour hosts "WTF was THAT! all about?" No doubt they got the correct answer: "BLACK SABBATH!!!!!!!!!!!"

'Birmingham is the sluttiest city in the world', claims Miley Cyrus after she asks fans to flash her on her Bangerz tour
