I saw this floating around Facebook today. He looks so good in a suit, all handsome and powerful. He should wear them more often, but I imagine it gets too hot on stage. Does anyone know when this was?

When he played in Charlotte in 1992, Morrissey attempted to throw out his maracas to the audience, but because there was a large space between us and the stage, somehow they ended up falling beneath the stage instead. I don't know if he didn't throw them far enough, or if they hit the barrier and bounced back (most likely). He was quite unhappy about that. In fact, if I remember correctly, he stopped the band and called over a security guard. Apparently, the security guy couldn't retrieve them as I think that's what Morrissey wanted him to do. I can still see the disdain on his face to this day. It was difficult for him to make physical contact, but that barrier didn't stop him or us. What a night that was...Wish I had photos.
