No one seemed intrested in his meat is murder propaganda. So the show went so so.. I think a half the crowd was populated by casino comps...
He's had that video in the show since the first date of the previous world tour (Summer 2015, New Orleans) and true fans know its going to play for all stops in this tour so the video would not have surprised anyone except the dilettantes in the audience. If they were shocked and turned away then 'mission accomplished' as the video is meant to shock. True fans know the song has been played at all shows for the last two years unless there are a very few rare exceptions. I would love to hear how you know that 'no one' seemed interested. Your inane post adds nothing to this discussion and adding the word 'propaganda' is a needlessly provocative way to add to the message board. Propaganda is implicitly misleading. How was the video misleading? How is it less truthful than the way meat is promoted to consumers the world over while the loss of rainforest for grazing purposes and the methane emissions the cattle produce is glossed over? Methane is many times worse than CO2 in terms of causing global warming and the loss of rainforest means fewer trees to process CO2. Thats the propaganda. Your future posts would be more fitting at the National Cattleman's Beef Association and/or various state Beef Councils.

Oh do shut up.

So what? That's something new to me and I've been going to Morrissey shows since 1992. I think it sucks.
Yes, I have been going to Moz shows since 1991 myself, but this guest list/early entry thing has only been going on for about three or four years now. It used to be only Julia but now it's a joke.

Also he didn't do the shirt toss, and even though we were standing in line for hours they let a bunch of "VIPs" in before everyone else so they got to go in front first. That's messed up.

They were selling those VIP wrist bands in the box office right next to the entrance for 25 bucks which allowed you to get in 15 mins earlier +2 drinks in the bar. You could've bought it yourself instead of complaining here. Also I want to reassure you that those people spent much longer in that line than you did.

There were exactly four people let in on the guest list. The VIP thing was a separate deal the venue offered for $25 to get you into the lobby 15 minutes before doors. They offered it irregardless of the line that had started the night before (and I was part of) and one of the employees was downright hostile about the line overall. I still ended up down front but there were people who strolled in at 7:30 and got in front of us anyway.

Good show overall. I love one of our own so glad to hear that again. Met Boz and Gustavo who were both kind and good to fans.

Hi Haters:

He is touring like a dog and hasn't cancelled and each show sounds fresh.

Any i luf yous last night? We luf you too and in a real love kind of way. Not "i only love you when you give me....". Be free my man.

My first Morrissey live experience and it was amazing! I travelled down with some of my family from Oregon and it was well worth it. Moz was in great form vocal wise and seemingly energetic. Plenty of people in the front who gave him gifts or had something for him to sign. Lots of people attempted to climb on stage but of course to no avail. Nonetheless Moz was shaking plenty of hands near the front.

Unfortunately have the crowd was pretty lame and not very enthusiastic aside from the hits. I saw tons of people leave during the show especially after anti-Trump comments and songs like Bullfighter Dies and Meat Is Murder. Maybe it was just coincidence. Moz also told someone to shut up in the crowd, don't know what that was about. Morrissey told the crowd near the end they had made the band happy, so all seemed well.

It seemed to future a bit more songs in the set list than usual but maybe I was just imagining it. Started with Trump-Shifters and ended with What She Said with Judy Is a Punk as an encore as usual, everything in between on my posted set list is jumbled so hopefully someone can post the correct order.

Trump-Shifters of the World Unite
Suedehead
Everyday Is Like Sunday
First of the Gang to Die
Irish Blood, English Heart
Ganglord
Ouija Board, Ouija Board
Meat Is Murder
How Soon Is Now?
The Bullfighter Dies
I'm Throwing My Arms Around Paris
Jack the Ripper
One of Our Own
Speedway
World Peace Is None of Your Business
Kiss Me a Lot
You Have Killed Me
Alma Matters
The World Is Full of Crashing Bores
What She Said/Rubber Ring
Encore
Judy Is a Punk
Its not the crowd's job to make the band happy. It's the band's job to make the crowd happy. Moz probably does think he's doing everyone a favour by even being on stage but he wouldn't be anywhere without the paying audience.

Of course he won't cancel. It's his money at stake. He'll only cancel if someone else, for example a record company, is stumping up.

I usually just put my head down for this part, but it wouldn't be a Moz show without it! As for the crowd - on record this is the first Morrissey show I've been to where people sat LOL. It was so odd to sit, but comfortable. I did see a lot of comps in the audience as well - people leaving early, not interested, some who'd never heard of him so that was no bueno. I LOVED the Ramones cover at the end :) So does anyone know why he chose a Reno casino in the first place? I don't mind because I walked upstairs to my room happy after the show, but it seemed an anomaly for Moz.

Bitching about Trump whilst including a song in the same setlist that encourages people not to vote is just about the daftest thing I've ever heard.

I can complain here if I want, and you have no f***ing idea how long I waited in line. Go take a seat.

That's an interesting point Uncleskinny, we'll never know but I wonder how many dates he would have sacked if a record company had been behind him ?

I did a survey of all cancellations and tallied them up some time ago. It's somewhere in the forums, but essentially when he was with a record company there were many, many more cancellations than when he was not.

I reckon when me first saw Re No on the tour list, I thought what a tossey innit!! Then I reckon I figured it out. Steve has finally accepted that the Vegas residency will never happen no matter how many strings Nancy has pulled and that he will never knock Wayne Newton off his throne. So he reckons the second best option is Reno. "The biggest little city in the world AND Morrissey every Tuesday and Thursday live at the Ramada Casino Room"

I reckon me agree with Speeday. I reckon that there appears to be less Mexicans now at the concerts in the West. He should drop it along with "First of the Gang" and open with "Interesting Drug" and put "Billy Budd" back in. I think he should add "Danny Boy" and dedicate it to his third cousin who plays on the LA Kickball team with David Beck Ham.

It is an interesting point, and pretty much spot on. Very few cancellations since he's been funding tours himself.

Have you anything positive to contribute in 2016? And I know you will answer this question with an array of abuse, as always.
