On Hollyoaks some time this week, Josh sold Rhys' records which included a few Smiths LPs.
 
not really a morrissey reference per se (it was made before 'don't make fun of daddy's voice' anyway), but i was just watching this de niro movie 'flawless' with half an eye, and there's a scene at the beginning where two older ladies observe some rather...flamboyant guys, and one says to the other, something to the effect of "they're not boys, they're not girls...it's not their fault. they were born that way. something in their throats."

Joe Brand is going on about Morrissey and Moz fans right now on the One Show, and talking about the book she is doing, titled "The More You Ignore Me," about a mother and daughter who are obsessed with Morrissey.
 
Listening to Marketplace report on NPR, at the end of a segment on British MP's having to disclose 2nd jobs, a short instrumental of Please, Please, Please was played. :guitar:
 
I just received a Text message from a friend who is at The Hollywood Bowl. She is seeing The New Pornographers. She said the lead singer just said, " I don't know if you know... this is a very famous venue! Morrissey played here!"

I'm glad I've heard a Morrissey song in TV!:D it is a spanish documentary called "Planeta finito". They were talking about the beautiful Poland, a very well structured review, and when they talked about cracovia, what did i expected to hear but "First of the gang to die"?:eek:, a very nice surprise, and a very nice documentary for those lucky ones who're going to attend the varsaw gig!:cool:

A friend of mine was at a party at a neighbor's house not long ago. The party-throwers are guys who have their own construction business; big, macho, head-shaving types.

Anyway, some metalhead at the party says "Morrissey sucks!" My friend replies "I love Morrissey." One of the hosts says "Yeah, me too. As a matter of fact, he's on the playlist tonight." The metal head replies "Oh, Dude, I thought you were cool." :rolleyes: :lbf:
 
The shitty new Green Day album mentions Louder Than Bombs incorporated in a lyric. Best thing about that sonic shite.
