You can just hear the sound of tea cups being dropped in middle England as they read this amongst the latest "news" in the Mail

Will be slagging Morrissey off whilst reading one of the most racist papers in the UK

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...nese-subspecies-treatment-circus-animals.html

Not the most clever of comments from Morrissey as just tars all nation with one brush but certainly generated some publicity for Guardian and Morrissey

Notthe first time he's done it and won't be last

Blah blah blah..all this talk about China and nothing about the animal cruelty.

It's just this minute been on sky news!

Here's a sample of tweets about it.

Ah, Morrissey, you daft racist.

News just in: Morrissey has apologised to the people of China, claiming he is 'Vely solly'.

He just dislikes the entire human race. And if you don't get that after nearly 30 years of Morrissey you need to have a word with yourself.

The trouble with Morrissey's racist remarks is he makes one, then half an hour later he feels like another one

But luckily for him he's got someone on his side and not just any somone. The most popular man in the twitterverse Stephen Fry and he's just posted a link and says
Armitage and Mozzer. Marvellous.

There's no doubt that the focus of this should be the appalling animal abuse that Morrissey is very rightly trying to bring into the spotlight. That said,

from chinesemorrissy:

"Hoisin is Now."

Morrissey should apologize I guess. That's pretty shocking.

Morrissey can say what he likes, he's an individual and has said worse things...it shouldn't be that shocking

Any mention of it in The Sun, Daily Mirror or my favourite Daily Sport...joking joking

I'd love Stephen Fry to interview Morrissey on BBC4, it could be called 'We Two Stevens/Stephens', you get the gist!
