"'We Hate It When Our Friends Become Successful' wasn't written about the band James, 'You're The One For Me, Fatty' wasn't ever about Cathal Smyth, and 'Frankly, Mr Shankly' is not about Geoff Travis.
Who decided that they were?"

Knowing Morrissey’ :lbf:

Anyway....

similar to Prince and they way he felt he was treated by the record industry? Yeah, I can see that.
Prince said he was a "Slave" to the music industry and his record company that is true he had many battles with "Warner" his record label. Michael Jackson also spoke out a lot about $ONY his record company. George Michael had a battle with $ONY. So sad a lot of the 1980s music stars are now dead. That generation those born in the late 1950s and in the 1960s are amazing when they see bad stuff going on they call it out no matter the consequences! They are a brave generation. Morrissey is one of the last ones left of those 1980s music stars and he has never sold out. The Dick Gregory connection with Morrissey, Michael Jackson and Prince is interesting as well.

I like it when Morrissey posts something by himself about his music. Whatever.

It makes me feel closer to him and I love it!

Viva Moz!

Morrissey had help posting this. Someone had to find the WRONG graphic. Lame.
