Much ado has been made about the early entry benefit: whether it exists, how we get it, how it will work.

In a fit of impatience and polite but firm consumer rights mania, I finally got through to a kind soul at LiveNation who told me what we all want to know:

Whether you bought will-call, or had your tickets sent to you, you will present yourself at the Will-Call window at the venue the first night before the show, and will be given your pass and poster. They will have a list of the names who bought the package.

I specifically asked if the pass would be held past the first show, and they said yes. In other words, I'm showing up on Friday, and my pass will be waiting for me at the Will-Call window.

The guy said Ticketmaster was supposed to have told us this. But now we know... but I still don't know if the early-entry benefit is transferable. Sorry. It sounded like it's an additional pass that you would show.

just got word from a friend of mine that works at LAX that he spotted Morrissey walking from the International section to a waiting limo. he only said hello to Morrissey and see you in T.J. Morrissey replied "hello" and "we'll be there".

After the director and lead actor of "Half A Person: My Life as Told by The Smiths" met Mike Joyce and Andy Rourke at the premiere of the doco: "Inside the Smiths" in London recently, they were greeted with the news that their show is to open at the Newtown Theatre in Newtown Sydney, Australia next week from 18-29 September. Mid next year the show is to open in Melbourne then in London in July. Stay tuned...
