Went down to Waterstones during my break, and discovered the Johnny Marr Book 'The Smiths & the Art of Gunslinging' is on the shelves a few days early. Purchased said book, and shall let my thoughts be known on the content soon.

The one with the 100 best songs ever (apparently) has a free booklet of 20 years of Rock Photography. the centre spread is the pic of Moz taken at the Griffith Observatory in 1994. Very lovely.

Having now completed reading the book last night (it doesn't take long, hardly Camus!) i can report it is as bad as you would expect, written puely as a money making venture. For the Smiths part of the book, really your better sticking to goddards opus which is far, far superior by several...
