Kevin Seal was not the original host. The first year saw multiple hosts including JJ Jackson, Alan Hunter, Carolyne Heldman, Adam Curry & Downtown Julie Brown...although Kevin Seal did host many episodes from mid 87 to mid 89 when Dave took over.
Thank you FWD, actually, this site resurrected a few months ago which played a huge part in my recent enthusiasm for all things 120, can be found at: https://archive.org/. Not sure why your link shows everything as dead, but I have downloaded a number of 120 episodes from this site over the...
So, MTV’s 120 Minutes is something that I continue to cling to in my middle aged-madness as it were! Music remains as my life force and I remember the days of 120 Minutes quite fondly…including the loveable old curmudgeon himself, Dave Kendall! Back in the day, in my high school and college...
Re: Morrissey's 1st solo show at Wolverhamptom
Thanks for the replies. I was able to send him a copy of this poster I have to which he has traced to photographer Steve Double who apparently also has several other very nice shots. As for the Tim Broad video footage, I don't think that's going...
A friend of mine at Uncut is working on a feature on Morrissey's first solo show at Wolverhampton and is looking to see if there is any memorabilia for it about. Programmes, flyers, tickets etc. They are going to use Kevin Cummins photographs of the show but the problem is that because...

Re: Selling lots of Moz/Smiths subway posters, vinyl, live silver cds, shirts etc on
Thanks to all that bid, and to those that won, congrats! The subway posters were the hardest of the lot for me to part with, so I hope the winners will display them proudly! Goodnight and thank you!
Re: Selling lots of Moz/Smiths subway posters, vinyl, live silver cds, shirts etc on
First time I saw each of those bands was in '91...both great shows. 7 Seconds and Morrissey , as strange a combination as it may sound, were my two biggest influences when I was doing the band thing. 7...
Re: Selling lots of Moz/Smiths subway posters, vinyl, live silver cds, shirts etc on
Definitely a huge hockey fan, albeit a bit difficult for me right now with the Sabres missing the playoffs by the narrowest of margins the past two seasons. October seems so far away...sigh.
As for...
Re: Selling lots of Moz/Smiths subway posters, vinyl, live silver cds, shirts etc on
I suppose I can't really answer that because I don't have any real way of knowing if that really influenced anyone in particular to look at and/or bid on an item. What I can say, is that having been fairly...
Re: Selling lots of Moz/Smiths subway posters, vinyl, live silver cds, shirts etc on
Yes, will combine shipping...cost of additional items will vary depending on what items are combined. Don't sell all of your plasma...save a little :)
Paring down my collection a bit before moving later in the year. Lots of subway size posters, original live silver cd’s (not cd-r’s), vinyl and other odds and ends have been listed on ebay for you to take a gander at if you so desire…cheers!
Here’s a link to one of them...you can of course...
Hi Rastin3.
Thank you so very much for putting all this together and sharing. Unfortunately, even with this new link for part 5 of the second part, it still shows up as being corrupt when I attempt to extract the files. Don't know if there's anything else you or someone else can do to...
Contact The Fact by The Sound
Walk Like A Zombie by Horrorpops
The Killing Moon by Echo & the Bunnymen
Bitchin' by The Donnas
All You Need Is Me by Mozza
Last Night by Lush
I definitely miss this band something terribly...they were amazing and incredibly underrated. For those of you who also adore Lush, a good friend of mine has recently unleashed the most comprehensive Lush website ever. You can spend hours reading through old articles and checking out all the...
No, we did not stick around for the fake ND. It was way too packed full of people whom I don't need to be that close to. We felt really out of place and surrounded by lameness, & desperately needed to make a quick getaway!
Quinn managed to hook us up with 4 tickets, so I did end up there after all. They were very good of course. 9:30 Club was definitely completely packed and it was certainly 99% a Neil Diamond crowd. We were all feeling a little ill at ease being surrounded with such people. We heard some...
