San Diego, CA - Pechanga Arena (Oct. 6, 2019) post-show

That is a great story. That was such an exciting time in the Moz fan life. I think that was only my second concert (First was Depeche Mode Violation Tour). My seats were on the left in the loge near the back. I was so jealous of everyone on the floor. There were two older guys, about 10...

San Diego, CA - Copley Symphony Hall (Nov. 10, 2018) post-show

I've put in my time with opening acts and always tried to give them a shot. In Moz's case, he hasn't always picked winners. Although I didn't see them, the Smoking Popes are probably the only opener he's had that turned into a favorite in my collection. Elcka I liked. Many more I don't even...

San Diego, CA - Copley Symphony Hall (Nov. 10, 2018) post-show

My perspective. Been to the SD show since 91, missing one here and there due to life, while also catching Coachella, Vegas, and an occasional LA show. My last was the Sports Arena show about 5 years ago. Tonight was a good show. Setlist was good, based on recent history, although there were...

Morrissey to play Copley Symphony Hall, San Diego, Nov. 10th, 2018 [now on Ticketmaster]

Thanks, Thats the one. I was able to get in section C row B in spite of Ticketmaster! Now I'll need to go look for a second job to pay for the damn thing. $165 out the door. I guess it could be worse, ticket agencies, etc.

Amanda Palmer is sick and cancels Morrissey's San Jose gig

Uh-oh, better hope Moz doesn't find out about the Lobster roll. Banishment awaits.

    Nashville, TN - Ryman Auditorium (July 3, 2015) post-show

Really enjoyed that. When he got to the chorus part, I instantly recognized it. Couldn't place it right away, then it hit me that it was the chorus sampled in Kon Kan's "I beg your pardon". Been hearing that song for years and had no idea where it came from.

San Diego, CA - Balboa Theatre (Feb. 27, 2013) post-show

I didn't have a problem with a lyric change here and there when it was very witty or even profound and sounded good. "Complicated things of life.." comes to mind. But so many that he goes with today don't make the song better, and as some have mentioned, actually take away from songs that mean...

Lesson. Don't jump at the first seat offered if its not ideal. I thought Orch BX would be awesome, but its the last row of the section. I went back in, and the new seat locator, where you actually pick the seat from the map was there, and there was a row 5 center available. I tried to buy...

Same here 36 minutes later. After dealing with Ticketmaster last year for the Sports Arena Show, I'm about done with going to shows just out of principle. Last year, 1 minute after they go on sale, all I can get from the pre-sale is nose bleeds. I hate TM with a passion.
