That's hilarious, but on a serious note Morrissey really should adopt a model similar to Nick Cave, even though Morrissey is too shackled in his pride and idealism. There are new ways to get music out, it's too bad when you go see him in concert and you can't get the new album. I already own it...
I hope more footage is posted if any is available, I was really hoping to see him perform World Peace Is None of Your Business. However, hopefully they didn't record Speedway, why must he ruin a good song on tour? I still love you, Moz. Only slightly less than I use to because you didn't play...
I would be interested in seeing Morrissey perform any other song than "Kiss Me A Lot". When I took my date to his show I nudged her, "Did you hear Moz? Eh, eh?..." and she only scoffed at me, granted she had narcissistic personality disorder and we got along like oil and water, the song brings...
At the time of my writing this I haven't read the novel, I am waiting to finish reading Mozipedia before I move onto List of The Lost, but all the backlash and bad reviews does make me more intrigued to read it. I just find it silly that Morrissey is taking it as a personal attack and responds...
If what he's alluding to is true--which I don't believe him, I will be happy to say I got to see him at least once. I just had the unfortunate luck of taking an ungrateful date with me. I can understand why he feels this way, and even though he boasts about sold-out shows and the like on this...
I'm not sure how to feel about this. I heard about Adams from his song about Sylvia Plath, but didn't like it. If anything, the album will sound like Adams, and not The Smiths--even if he quiffed his hair. Maybe Swift will do a cover of Girlfriend In A Coma in the style of Adams in response? Why...
According to the new book, Morrissey FAQ "Morrissey did not get his driver's license until 1995, so driving anyone's girlfriend home would have been impossible in 1990". (When Kill Uncle was released shortly after Bona Drag), and Your Arsenal was in 1992. I don't know the year of the music video...
I like to think that Morrissey's celibacy was a quip to make his undulating loneliness seem endearing when he was younger. "Oh, woe is me". I'm fairly young, and haven't had much luck in relationships, but that is on account of me being attracted to those who don't like me, or they go out with...
I want to read these. I don't know much about Pulp other than some works by Delmore Leonard; does anyone know where I can get these in paperback? Amazon?
I think it is his official page, Morrissey just likes to keep himself in the news any way he can outside of the new tour. While I thought it was odd that the page went silent after last tour got cancelled, then a discount code being posted for Mporium out of the blue, but now with him going back...
I don't know what to think about this. I will say that I am incredibly jealous of his memorabilia collection, though. Probably not a guy I would like to converse with.
THIS. Thank you for the laugh. I read "Girls and Boys" and confused it with the Bryan Ferry album, "Boys and Girls" which just made it all the more funny. Not mocking Ferry, great album, but the gay bar could be playing Dannii Minogue as well. "All wanna do! All wanna do is touch you!"
The concept of releasing a "new" single for a song that was in an album which was released in the summer bewilders me; why call it "new"? Because of Harvest? Does Moz own the songs now? I already have the album. I suppose it's nice to get some more Moz on iTunes, but whaaaa?
