I moved from Buffalo to Newport, RI about two months ago. I was asking your question three months ago when I was still living there (incidentally, Buffalo is enormously depressing, as you'll soon discover). I found a couple of fans in Allentown, and a student at Daemen College, but I've lost track of their email addresses. Bottom line: yes, there's a fan base there, but it needs to be searched out and activated (Buffalonians are lazy). There was a huge Morrissey gala in Niagara Falls (USA) about 8 months ago.
