CASA 0101 Theater proudly presents the return of Teatro Moz!
MOZ is a popular nickname for the frontman for “The Smiths” – a wildly successful UK rock band in the 1980s. Since that time, Moz has embarked on a solo career that has become immensely popular in the Latino/Chicano community throughout Los Angeles. How did this flamboyant, controversial rock star from Europe become such a huge influence on a new generation of local Mexican-American fans?
“Teatro Moz” explores this unique MozLandia community with an evening of short plays that will lead the audience on a journey of all things Moz. Written and created by his fans, the evening will include live musical performances, sing-alongs, and new takes on classic Moz songs, all presented by our talented “Moz Squad” performers.
