I was just wondering what they mean.
The one with the bird is on ROTT US digipack cd and the one with a crown is on the ROOT US jewel case cd.

Not knowing their sentimental value, I find them interesting because they are crosses that actually take the form of a circle, encompassing both feminine and masculine design principles and incorporating the ever important balance of horizontal and vertical. But maybe they're Morrissey's grandpa's medals from the war. Who knows? As far as the eagle and crown go, well, that's a book in itself to explain.
