An anonymous person writes: On a very recent The Daily Show with Jon Stewart there were two Smiths references. The first came as he was talking about the "War on Drugs" that the US is fighting. He said, "There's a kid in the audience with a Smiths shirt saying, 'Uhhh, there's a drug war?'" with his best impersonation of a stoner. Later while discussing American college students, he described them as going "Nowhere Fast" as he said it he looked at the audience and smiled to himself.
Railed Daily also writes: I work nights and watch the Craig Kilborn show nearly every night, and lo and behold, one night they were playing "Reel Around The Fountain" as they went to a commercial. Can't remember the date or who was on the show that night because I was dumbstruck to hear the song! Did anyone else hear it??? ---
