  • Okay, so Moz is denouncing the royal family. I'm ideologically fine with that. But don't the lyrics state, "Spit upon the grave of Oliver Cromwell"? Why? Huntingdon's finest was our only Republican leader. The regicide's took over for 12 years. They were a motley crew of kill joys and idealists united by their anti-monarchism. Oh and they persecuted swathes of Irish catholics.

    Crowmell was wrong on Ireland and catholicism but right on the refutation of The Divine Right Of Kings.

    Old "warts and all" features was the closest we've come to being a Republican state, so why is Moz advocating denouncement?
