  • According to the article there are two kinds of people...those who love the Smiths and those who love Moz.

Is it possible to love both equally?

Let's just, for arguments sake, say it isn't possible...now, which are you? A Smiths fan or a Morrissey fan?

I know it is possible to be both but let's get off the fence and make a bold declaration of who we love and why...

    I'm going for Moz.

I'll need to think about why.

  • It should say:
There are two kinds of people:
    1) Those who love The Smiths and Morrissey
    2) Those who love only The Smiths
No Moz-fan would notlove The Smiths.

  • Great article. I totally agree w/ Johan, though. Hey, I live in Tampa and didn't even realize this article had been published, which leads me to believe that perhaps someone else in the area (aside from the article's author) actually listens to Morrissey's music. Yay! If you're out there, feel free to drop me a line. Don't know about you but I'm starved for the companionship of a local compatriot.

  • Marr would have been a disgruntled postal worker is Morrissey hadn't rescued him.

Marr has never written a decent tune.

  • Good article. She said everything that I've been wanting to say since the album came out...

Anyway, I'm both a Morrissey and a Smiths fan, and for all the same reasons. I love them equally; in fact, there's really no argument in my opinion...

  • I love Marr's guitar work. I think the Smiths were better musically, but Morrissey's voice has only gotten better over the years. Of course his lyrics have been consistently great. It's a toss up for me.
